4 Paws for Ability

Leash up your dog and lace up your running shoes! New location and date this year!  

 

4 Paws for Ability trains and places service dogs with children and veterans with disabilities. The cost to train and place a service dog is $40,000 to $60,000. Fundraisers such as the 4 Paws 5K help us raise money to continue our mission! Thank you for your support!

 

Race info

The 5K and mile walk will be held at the Greene County Fairgrounds and Expo Center in Xenia, Ohio on Saturday, June 26, 2021. After the race, check out the crafters and vendors at Zinnia Days in the Expo Center and then come tour the new addition to the 4 Paws campus just a five minute drive away! 

 

This is a dog friendly event; dogs must be fully vaccinated, on leash, and be able to behave well around other dogs.

7am Registration and packet pick up opens

8am 5K start

9am One Mile Walk start

9am Zinnia Days Craft and Vendor Show

12pm Tours at 4 Paws (*Sign up required)

 

Registration Fees 5K

 

Early Bird Now through May 1 (race shirt, finisher medal, custom race bib guaranteed) $30

 

May 2 through May 24 (race shirt, finisher medal, custom race bib guaranteed) $35

 

May 25 to Day-Of Registration (race bib only) $40

 

~VIP Option~ Now through May 24 (4 Paws tote bag, 4 Paws face mask, Chappy's Social House gift card, sponsor swag, race shirt, finisher medal, custom race bib) $60

Virtual option

Want to support the race but not able to attend in person? Register for the virtual option by May 24 and pick up your race items at 4 Paws on June 25 or choose to have them mailed to you. Cost for shipping and handling will be $5. Items will be mailed out by June 14 but not guaranteed to arrive by June 26. 

 

Packet pickup

Packet pickup for the mile and 5K has been scheduled for Friday, June 25 from 8am-6pm at 4 Paws for Ability. You can also pick up your packet on race morning beginning at 7am.

 

Please note: Packet pick up on Friday is for the One Mile Walk and 5K only if you purchased your race package prior to May 24.

 

Medals

New this year! Those registered for the 5K before May 24 will receive a 4 Paws 5K 2021 finisher medal.

 

 

No refunds! Shirts and medals will not be mailed (unless paid for during registration) or available for pick up beyond the date of the race.
