5K By The Bay Beaufort

The 5K By The Bay and Oyster Roast after party is hosted by the Technical College of the Lowcountry's (TCL) Veterans Resource Center as a means to raise money in support of TCL's Student Veteran's of America Chapter.  The Student Veteran's of America (SVA) is a not for profit coalition of student-veteran groups on college campuses across the globe.  At TCL, our SVA works hard to empower veterans to be informed consumers of higher education, and helps them to make the most of their transition into the civilian work force.  

Proceeds from the race will directly fund the travel and lodging of local student-veterans as they attend the SVA national leadership conference in San Antonio.  The National Conference is an invaluable networking opportunity for local veterans to connect with businesses and colleges who are dedicated to helping them reach their goals.
