5K Care@Home Crusade

The 5K Crusade is a charitable event and fundraiser that will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the University of South Alabama on the "Swamp Loop" 5 K course.
 
On event day, registration will take place at the SGA Pavilion where a mini-Health Fair, fun, snacks and festivities are planned from 7:00 AM until 12:00 o'clock noon.
 
Remembering the Elders in the Village (REV) is hosting this event to help generate funds and resources for patients who have great difficulty paying for non-covered home-care services, whose family members or caretakers need respite, and who may require Personal Care Services. The REV voucher program has been designed to help patients who have fallen behind on non-covered services or who can demonstrate an economic hardship by subsidizing a portion of the cost of their Home Care trip fees.

Also, a portion  of the proceeds from the Crusade will be donated to Officer J. Tucker of the Saraland Police Dept.; Officer Tucker is a local police officer who was senselessly attacked and injured while in the line of duty.
