Join Hanfield United Methodist Church on Mission’s Weekend, August 27, 2016 for a 5K run/walk to raise money for two missionary projects.  Nathan and Jade Metz serve as missionaries with World Gospel Mission in Uganda.  Nathan works with Ugandan pastors to start discipleship groups.  $30 will purchase teaching materials for pastors to use to start a small group.  Jade works with Ugandan women and $300 will purchase a sewing machine, training, and enough fabric material to open a business.  Our goal of $1,950 will provide training packs for pastors and business start-ups for local Ugandan women!  Ribbons will be awarded to the top finisher and then the top man and woman from each age category ages 18 and up.  Children and youth will receive a participation ribbon.

The information about this race is based on information provided by the organizers or found on the official website of the event. Always check the official website for up-to-date information. If you have noticed any mistake, let us know at [email protected]
