5K Walk/Run For Health

The 25th Annual 5K for Health promotes health and wellness and is an opportunity for co-workers, friends and families to join together to raise funds for Cass Community Health Foundation and its programs for area youth. Proceeds benefit the Cass County Dental Clinic with locations in Belton and Harrisonville. Funds also support our scholarship program for area high school students. 

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 5K RUN: Registration for the 5K run is required. Pre-event registration fees are $45.  Register a group of five or more and only pay $35 per person. You may register the day of the event for $50. 5K run packets will be available to pick up on Thursday, May 3 from 4-7 p.m. at Academy Sports in Belton, Missouri (510 Markey Pkwy, Belton, MO 64102). Day-of registrations will take place at the registration tent outside the entrance of Belton Regional Medical Center at 7:15 a.m.

What will I get for participating in the 5K run?
You will receive a 5K for Health t-shirt. The top finisher in each age group will receive medals. You can also enjoy the post-event, morning celebration including food, music, prizes and a community health fair with children’s activities.

Is the 5K run timed?
Yes, you will receive a timing chip in your race packet. Timing and race results will be coordinated by Bodies Race Company.

Where is the course?
The 5K for Health course will start and end at Belton Regional Medical Center. View the course here. 

Can my family or friends join me if they are not registered?
No, registration is required to participate in the 5K run. You can register here or register the day of the event. Your family and friends are more than welcome to participate in the 5K walk . There is no fee to participate in the 5K walk, but all walkers must register online. We encourage walkers to raise pledges and all participants to make donations.
