5K Youth Empowerment Run

We're a Non-Profit Organization (Christian Trades) having a 5K Youth Empowerment Run (Fundraiser). We're trying to have a run which features youth and adults.  Our theme for our race is to help train and equip our youth to be strong leaders for tomorrow! To empower and encourage them to run the race of life and don't give up!

Starting Time and Place
8:00 a.m. / Adults & Youth
Darling Memorial Stadium, Hampton, Virginia  

Race Day Registration
6:30 – 7:45 a.m. / Adults & Youth

Course
Adults and the youth race takes place inside Darling Memorial Stadium and proceeds outside the stadium onto Victoria Boulevard. The course is asphalt paved. Water, refreshments.  The first 100 registrants for the combined events will receive a Youth Empowerment cap.

Awards 
Youth: Top 3 in age groups (8 and younger, 9-14, 15-19)
Youth Teams: Sister/Sister, top 3 overall; Brother/Brother top 3 overall; Sister/Brother top 3 overall
Women: Top 3 overall, top 3 masters (40 yrs. plus), and top 3 in age groups 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over
Men: Top 3 overall, top 3 masters (40 yrs. plus), and top 3 in age groups 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over

Activities  (Starting after 11:00 AM from 1:00 PM - Will include):                           
Enjoy live performances, ethnic foods, high school bands, cheerleaders and exciting booths
