A Grave Situation, An Awesomesauce Event

You can rest in peace when you're dead. When you're with us, you'll be on your feet running and walking amongst the undead!

Grab your favorite living humans, dress up in costume if you'd like, and creep and crawl your way through the park. At the aid station, you can eat, drink, and be scary, and there will be plenty of tricks and treats at the finish line! With distances from up to half marathon, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

SOME THINGS TO NOTE:
- This is a family-friendly event, so please keep those costumes family-friendly as well.
- Gravestones will silly sayings will be scattered throughout the course. If you think you might be offended or upset by these, we'd suggest you do not register for this race.
- Kids in strollers with well-behaved pushers are welcome. Please register your stroller riders so we can have a bib ready for your little one(s)!

Our races are super low-key and non-competitive; we'd prefer to race you vs. you, not you vs. anyone else. We do post results though, so these races qualify for 50 States Half Marathon Club and Half Fanatics! There is a 4 hour time limit for all distances. If you think you'll end up taking more than 4 hours, we do offer an optional early start. Walkers are TOTALLY welcome at all of our events; there is no running police here! We don't care if you're fast or if you're slow, we just care that you have a good time!

Your registration fee includes entry into the race distance of your choosing, race swag, finisher medal for all distances, and our usual aid station setup including Gatorade, water, Gu, and snacks and a spooktacular amount of post-race food.

The course is a paved loop at Harbins Park. You will pass the start/finish/aid station area multiple times throughout the race. Wait - what?! We are running in loops? Yep! The beauty of a looped course means that you're never alone; everyone gets to fiesta together! This also means you're welcome to leave a drop bag to access your own personal goodies and you can shed layers as you warm up, and you can reapply sunscreen, address any potential issues such as blisters, etc. Due to the nature of this event, there is a strict cap of participants, so we recommend registering EARLY.

Shirts are NOT included in your race fee. We do give out race swag, it just won't be a shirt! We do have lots of fun shirts available for purchase, and buying them in conjunction with your race registration hooks you up with the lowest available pricing. Any extras will be available for purchase on race day.

Awesomesauce Events produces low-key, laid-back running events that are focused more about camaraderie instead of competition. Our courses are not certified and not Boston qualifiers, but they are measured accurately and are USATF sanctioned. You won't find mid-race splits or mile markers or bands on every corner or an army of volunteers with their arms outstretched holding drinks just for you. There are plenty of races that are more serious, and we choose to run for fun. We do time our races and the results are posted online, but you will not be timed to the millisecond by chip timing equipment. If these things are important to you, we welcome you to search out other race companies. Our races are more like having a picnic with your friends with some running or walking thrown in for fun. We welcome fun-loving, laid-back, family atmosphere type people who are more worried about having a good time over running absolutely as fast as they can. As with any other race put on by any other company, registration fees and add-on fees are final and are not refundable or transferable for any reason. Prices are subject to change. The races will go on rain or shine.
