Abbott's A"maze"ing Race

An exceptionally fun but serious run for kids of all ages (8-88). The Abbott Farms A"maze"ing Race is preview Race and will be part of the Kids Fit Running Series in 2017. The Race event starts with a 1/2 mile trail run into a 10 acre Corn Maze, to prove each runner went into the Maze they will be required to locate and take 3 Maze tokens before exiting the Maze (kind of scavenger hunt), after exiting the Maze runners will pick up the pace and run through the Apple Orchards with the goal of reaching the 15 foot tube slides before running through one of the Barns and then to the finish line. All told a 1 1/2 mile run for ages 8-12 and a 2 mile run for ages 13+ (a few extra loops through the Apple Orchards).  Age groups will be determined at Race Day and will reflect registration numbers. Age group winners will receive a $50 gift card from Dick's Sporting Goods while 2nd place will receive a $20 gift card and 3rd place will receive a $10 gift card. All entrants will receive a race shirt as well as a Finisher Medal.
