Part of a three-day festival to celebrate historic Abercrombie, North Dakota, the 5K race starts and finishes at Abercrombie Park Pavillion, and takes runners on an out-and-back flat terrain past Historical Fort Abercrombie and across the mighty Red River into Minnesota.
2019 Aber 5K is excited to celebrate BIO Girls Abercrombie. Area girls ages 7 to 12 along with their adult mentors will be participating in the 5K to complete their 12-week Mentorship Program. Visit www.biogirls.org or Facebook – BIO Girls Abercrombie for more details.
Some of the annual Aber Days events include: variety show featuring some of the best talent in Richland County, North Dakota State Pedal Pull Event, parade through town, vendor blender showcasing unique area retailers, digital scavenger hunt spanning the entire town, living history presentations at the Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site, 8th Annual Abercrombie Fire & Rescue Rodeo followed by a street dance downtown. The eventful weekend closes with a special all-faith religious service in the park with a potluck meal after.
