ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital 5K to End Hunger

Join us again for the ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital 5K to End Hunger, and help us end hunger in Branch County!

Proceeds from this event will be equally divided between local initiatives to end hunger in Branch County. We were able to distribute $1,500 in 2018!  

Back Pack Buddies:  Provides discrete backpacks to kids with food for the weekend.  Referrals are provided by teachers and counselors in schools.  The organization strives to provide food for school breaks as well.

Branch Area Food Pantry: Provides food to Branch County residents in need.  Proof of residency and a picture ID are required to obtain food. 

ProMedica Coldwater Food Program (Implementation expected in 2019):  Funds will allow implementation of the best-practices model utilized by Toledo Hospital, Toledo Children's Hospital, and other ProMedica outpatient facilities.  Screening questions will be integrated into the medical assessment to identify food insecurities.

Packet pick up and Race Day Registration will begin at 7:00 am morning of the race. 5K Race day price is $30, 1 mile Race is FREE (shirts are not included with 1 Mile Fun Run, however shirts will be available for purchase). Register early and save!

The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.
