Alys Beach 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Join us for the 9th Annual Alys Beach 5K & One-Mile Fun Run on Sunday, September 6, 2020, in Alys Beach, Florida. Located along Hwy. 30A, the course winds through the town and ends with an oversized bounce house for kids of all ages. Music, food and beverages are then available in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre following the race. The 5K kicks off at 7 a.m. followed by the One Miler at 8:15 a.m. Stick around for the awards ceremony at 9 a.m.

The price to participate in the certified 5K is $35 and the One-Mile Fun Run is $15 (kids 12 and younger only, please) online and in advance until Sunday, August 25, at midnight. Beginning Monday, August 26, and until Friday, August 30, at 5 p.m., the price to participate in the 5K is $50 and the One Miler is $25. Any remaining registrations will be sold on Saturday, September 5, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at The Lucian Building, 29 North Somerset Street, in Alys Beach during Packet Pick-up.

The 5K is limited to 450 participants and the One-Mile Fun Run is limited to 150 participants.

If you choose to donate you will be benefiting The Alys Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established to support the long-term community values of Alys Beach. Funds may be used to finance community, environmental, cultural and educational programs at Alys Beach as well as to support nonprofit organizations in the greater Walton County community. Proceeds from the 2020 race will benefit Children In Crisis.

A few notes:

T-shirts will be provided with each registration.  However, shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed.
No dogs or strollers are allowed in the race.
On race day, please park along the slip roads that run parallel to 30A or as directed.
Water will be provided.
Packet pick up is Saturday, September 5  from 10am-2pm, or Sunday, September 6 at 6am at the Lucian Building in Alys Beach, 29 North Somerset Street. Advance registration closes Friday, September 4 at 2pm.  Any remaining race registrations will be sold on Saturday, September 4 from 10am-2pm at the packet pick-up for $50 for the 5K and $25 for the One Mile Fun Run.
The Course runs through the Nature Trail and is not entirely paved. 
Stick around for the awards presentation at 9am to listen to tunes by DJ Shane from Rock The House, cool off in the splash pad, play in the giant bounce house, or grab a beverage from Idyll Hounds (21+).  Additional beverages will be available for purchase.

Awards will be presented at the Alys Beach Amphitheatre at 9:15am in the following categories:

Overall Male and Female for 5K
Overall Male and Female for One Miler

Male and Female in 5K: Ages 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & up
Male and Female in One Miler: Ages 5 & under, 6-9, 10-12
