AOFC 5K Walk/Run (Aged-Out Foster Care Youth)

Did You Know 23,000 Aged Out Foster Care Youth with no place to call home?

Researchers have determined that when youth age out of foster care they often do not have sufficient skills to manage life on their own. Many experience one or more of the following situations that limit productivity, success and wellbeing.

Homelessness: More than one-fifth of foster care youth experience homelessness for at least one day within a year of aging out of the foster care system. Homeless youth are at a much higher risk of participating in prostitution, human trafficking, crime and drug activity for survival.

Ninety Days of Love Crisis Center, Inc. will stop Aged-Out Foster Care Youth from walking in the streets by walking in the 5K Walk to raise awareness and funds to purchase a home they can call home. Come and be apart of our AOFC 5K Walk, by registering a team of 4 or more.
