Apple Run, Walk & Candy Apple Kids Run

After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone our THIRD ANNUAL APPLE RUN, until 2022.  THIS RACE IS CANCELED THIS YEAR    We hope you understand- in light of the current Coronavirus Pandemic upticks we will hold off another year. Hosted by St Catherine of Siena in Trumbull, CT, the race is a terrific way to start off “Apple Season” in Connecticut.   We offer a 5K run (or walk) event which will be Computer Timed. Our shorter “Walk Only” will NOT be timed. The Candy Apple Kids Run for 3rd grade & under is a non competitive, un-timed fun run for all abilities!  For those that can’t be with us but want to support our event we will have a Virtual Apple Run & Walk that you can enjoy from anywhere and at anytime! All proceeds will benefit St. Catherine of Siena school & its students.  Our 5k course will be in the Nichols area of Trumbull- very similar to the well known "Jingle Bell Run" that takes place on the first Saturday in December. We will be watching the pre-registration to determine if we will have two seperate runs, at varying distances, if we see a wide age range. We do limit the kids to 3rd grade and under, please.   Be sure to take advantage of "early bird" signup pricing until August 31st!

SEPT 5 - LAST DAY TO GUARANTEE SHIRT SIZE FOR PRE REG  After that ‘as available’ 

Sept 13 - Early pickup and LATE registration at St. Catherine’s Parish Family Center.  Signs will clearly mark the bib pick-up area.   Pick-up starts at 2:30pm -NO SOONER PLEASE! School is in session and we cannot allow the public before that time.  Pre reg pickup ends at 6:30pm SHARP  

Sept 14 - 7:30am pre reg pickup and late registration $35 for all ages.

8:30am - FREE Kids Fun Run for 3rd grade and under only (parents may accompany child as needed) 

9:00am - 5K timed run and one mile untimed Walk Start
