About the event
Over the rocks and through the woods to Janesville’s gem we go for Arbor Rock Running’s inaugural trail race on August 4, 2018.
The Arbor Ridge Trail Race, sponsored by the neighboring and picturesque Arbor Ridge community, follows Wisconsin’s iconic Ice Age Trail through the secluded and serene Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum.
Reap the returns of racing a 5k, 8k or 16k route through the heavily-shaded forest, over roots and rocks, around a flowering meadow, and along a meandering stream. The mostly single-track Arbor Ridge Trail offers some challenging climbs and equally rewarding downhills.
The Arbor Ridge Trail Race will have the excitement of an inaugural event and the professionalism of tested trail races. Competitors can expect chip-timed results, well-marked courses, adequate aid stations, overall and age division awards, finisher shirts, and post-race festivities. The Arbor Ridge Trail Race is open to competitive and recreational runners of all ages. We are also tossing in a free 1K fun run for the kids.
A portion of race proceeds will go to the Ice Age Trail Alliance.
