The Arc Grand Prix Run at Watkins Glen International is a 3.4-mile run/walk on the internationally acclaimed motor racing track in Watkins Glen, New York. The race supports The Arc of Schuyler, an organization dedicated to providing services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for kids. This is a competitive race with top runners from each tier receiving medals although a one-mile walking course is included. Registration for this year includes a commemorative five-year t-shirt. This is a family-friendly event open to families and children of all ages. The race will be followed up by a short awards ceremony and an after party hosted by the Grist Iron Brewery. Watkins Glen International (WGI) was long recognized as the home of the United States Grand Prix, hosting the event for 20 years between 1961 and 1980. Today, Watkins Glen International hosts road races in nearly every class, many exciting events, and on April 18, 2015 – The 2nd Arc Grand Prix Run.
