Artful Dodger 5K

June 29, 2019

The Artful Dodger Run is all new this year.  We have updated the 5K route and have added a brand new 10K option.  Both courses start and end at a shared location so we can have an even bigger party at the finish line.  Walkers are welcome to sign up for the 5K course.  For those of you that enjoy the challenge of St. Clair’s hill, don’t fret, we still have a hill.  The route is a peaceful path through St. Clair’s residential neighborhoods.  This will not be an out and back course or a loop!  Chipped time for all participants.

Our 2019 Artful Dodger is not only changing the look of the route, we are changing the looks of the race.  This is not going to be an ordinary race – this is going to be a race event!

With registration each participant will receive:

-A gender specific t-shirt-Unique finishers medals, hand made by members of the St. Clair Art Association-Entry in to gift raffles-Post Race breakfast including pancakes, eggs and sausage.  Additional breakfast tickets can be purchased for $8.00 adults and $5.00 for children under 12

What makes this race more than every other race in the area?  Simple, we offer:

Also new this year are corporate teams.  Any business with 5 or more employees participating in the 5K race can enter as a corporate team.  All team member times will be added together to create an average.  The team withe the fastest average time wins bragging rights and the possession of the corporate travel trophy.  Their company name will be placed on a plaque to preserve their glory forever.  The winning team members will also receive a free race entry for the next years race. All corporate teams must pre-register.

The fund raised during this event support the St. Clair Art Association (SCAA).  the SCAA is located in the northeast section of Riverside Plaza.  The SCAA offers an art gallery for local artists to showcase their art and they have classes in almost any art medium for people of all ages and skill levels.  The SCAA also has Public Art displayed throughout the region.  SCAA is a non-profit organization that helps the community in many others ways including; scholarships, participating in Empty Bowls, and many other amazing programs
