Financial cost should never be a barrier to our Para-Athletes and caregivers. Our adaptive clinics are free to all participants. Proceeds from the race will benefit Athletes with Disabilities Network Northeast www.adnnec.org for information on our adaptive and mentoring programs Date: Saturday, December 8, 2018, 5k starts 9:00 am, 1 mile starts at 9:05 am Where; Cooper River Park, Stadium Track, 7050 North Park Drive, Pennsauken, NJ 08109Costs; 5k - $30 until 12/6, $35 12/7 - 5/8, $40 race day: 1 mile - adults $20 until 5/7, $25 Race day; kids 12 and under $15 until 12/7, $20 race day. Para-athletes - $24 until 12/6, $28 12/7 - 12/8, $32 race day.
Athletes with Disabilities Network Northeast, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established To promote a better quality of life for people with physical disabilities, especially for veterans and first responders by mentoring and creating awareness and offering opportunities for local athletic, recreational and educational activities.
Our programs benefit all disabled community members that may have physical or cognitive challenges Proceeds from the 2018 race will benefit Athletes with Disabilities Network Northeast.
T-shirts will be provided to first 500 registrants, then while supply lasts
On race day, please park along the side roads that bisect North Park Blvd or as directed.
No dogs or strollers are allowed in the 5k race, strollers are allowed in the 1-mile fun run/walk Water will be provided on course and at the finish
Packet pickup and registration will be at Haddonfield Running Co. from 4-7 pm Friday, December 7th. 121 Kings Highway E. Haddonfield NJ 08033 and on race day from 7:30 - 8:30 am at the race site, stadium track 7050 North Park Blvd. Pennsauken, NJ 08109
The course is around Cooper River start 1/2 mile east of the track and finishing at the stadium track
Awards 5k:
Awards 5k: top 3 male and female overall top 3 male and female in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. Para-athlete classes available for sight impaired, above and below knee amputee, limb difference, wheelchair, stature, cognitive, and ambulatory( CP, using forearm crutches etc. Special note Top 3 Teams with the participant in the running/pushchair(no fee for the participant in the chair)
