Course Description: Presently, the 5K course is being finalized. The course will likely consist of use of the park grounds crushed gravel paths surrounding the ball fields as well as the 1.5 mile Colonel Ledyard Park Trail which is a wide loop dirt trail over what is described as an “undulating terrain in a lovely forest setting.” The trail is enhanced by beautiful stone walls, brooks, and an old hand dug well site and an old stone foundation site with signage pointing out these particular areas. The final course will be determined well in advance of the race and updated here. If you have questions, please email [email protected] for up-to-date information.
Celebrate the last day of 2017 with a family friendly event which will be timed by hand and the results posted. Restroom facilities will be provided. Please know that this is a low key and no-frills event (e.g. no shirts or swag) so as much money can go to charity as possible. Refreshments will be provided.
