About the event
This 5k will take place on the streets in the Village of Oxford. The AW5K "Amelia's Voice" is to give Amelia a voice to help others stand up against domestic violence. The 5k will benefit Amelia's House a safe house for domestic violence victims in Chenango County. Amelia Wakefield was a beautiful, loving and caring 16-year old girl that was killed by her boyfriend on May 3rd, 2019. Please come out and run/walk and give this beautiful angel a voice to help others. The race will be professionally timed and there will placement medals for men and women and age groups and our special fashionably late medal for last person to finish.
