Backcountry Community 5k

Join your neighbors for BackCountry's 3rd Annual Family 5K Fun Run for a fun morning of exercise. Pets on leashes and strollers are welcome, as are runners and walkers of all ages and abilities!  Breakfast and race t-shirts are included with registration, thanks to our wonderful sponsors this year: Dr. Gary Holt - Holt Orthodontics, Shari Wolski - Orthodontics, Jill Weisswasser, Wendy Bowen and Scotta Larsen - Denver Trio, Party Pros DJ, Grist Brewing, Johnny McGrath, Will Routon Auto Broker, Dave Landin and The Mortgage Company, and many more.

We are celebrating the BackCountry 5K with a very special memorial for our dearly departed neighbor Ellen McGrath, who as many of you know bravely battled melanoma and is survived by her husband, Johnny McGrath and children Katie and Ryan. We have combined many of the features of last year's informal fundraiser for Ellen with this year's 5K, including food trucks, live music and a bar at Solstice Park. Friends and family of the McGraths will be joining the neighborhood event.
