Bacon Around the Bend 5K

RUN FOR BACON!

Join the Family Justice Center on June 23, 2018 for South Bend's inaugural Bacon Around the Bend 5k and 1 mile Bacon Dash! Participants will complete this 5k or 1 mile piggy pilgrimage while feasting on savory strips of meat-candy. Whether you run, walk, skip, or crawl, finishers will celebrate their achievement with post-race bacon-themed snacks. Participants over the age of 21 will also have the opportunity to toast their achievement with festive libations (bacon and Bloody Mary's anyone?). Need we say more? You run, we feed you bacon...it's that simple!

Race Start Times: 5K Run/Walk - 8:00am Bacon Dash 1 Mile Run/Walk - 8:30am Cost:  $35 includes drink ticket Student Rate for participants age 20 and under: $25 

Bring your family (strollers welcome)! Costumes encouraged! No dogs please (they love bacon a little TOO much!). 

This event is a celebration of everyone’s favorite food (BACON!) that also serves as an opportunity for the FJC to share its mission of providing help, healing, and hope to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and their families.
