Currently there are over 580 students from approximately 500 families actively involved in the Northview Band Program from grades 5-12. The Band Boosters pay for the show design, drill design, music, wind/drum/guard/marching instruction, some refreshments, copyright fees, competition fees, association fees, awards, scholarships, clinicians, guest artists and equipment.
Each year several Northview students are selected for the All-State Concert Band and Jazz Band. Former graduates are now professional symphony performers, jazz musicians and music teachers. The high school has been on nine successful European concert tours and one is scheduled for this summer!
