About the event
Mental Health America of West Central Indiana, Inc., in partnership with Terre Haute North Vigo High School Junior Air Force ROTC, is hosting an inaugural event, the Wabash Valley Bataan Memorial Death March Run/Hike.
This event will be held Saturday, May 19th at 9:00 AM at Liberty Village – 2800 Elm Street.
The Wabash Valley Bataan Death March Memorial Run and Hike is a 14-mile event (plus 1 Mile fun run) that honors the heroic service members of World War II who protected the Philippine Islands and were forced to march over 60 miles as prisoners of war. These soldiers sacrificed their freedom, health, and even their lives!
This event will benefit the veterans of Liberty Village by assisting them with gaining the necessary services needed to thrive in our community.
