Bay Highlands Walk for the Parks

Bay Highlands Walk for the Parks is a local fundraiser to support parks in our community.  Our goals include expanding a butterfly garden with native plants and a pathway, installing a rain garden to soak up excess rain and alleviate flooding at Augusta Park, and to provide a fun safe environment for kids to play.  Please sign up to participate as a walker, runner, or volunteer.  Strollers and friendly pets on a leash are welcome. 

The cost to participate is $10 per person.  There is a $5 donation for children ages 3-5 to cover the cost of their medal, drinks, and snacks.  Medals will be given to all registered participants 18 and under, so please fill in the birthday field when you register.  There will be a limited number of medals available to children who are registered after May 20th, so please register your kids early!

There is a small $2 fee per transaction on RunSignUp, so register your entire family or group at one time, so that you only pay the fee once. 

The race course is approx. 2.5K.  After leaving Augusta Park racers will head to Highland Beach.  It's a beautiful and mostly flat route that everyone is sure to love!  Runners will start at approx. 9:10 am and walkers will follow immediately after. 

After the Bay Highlands Walk for the Parks stay for an awesome Finisher Party at Augusta Park!  Enjoy the drinks and snacks provided by our sponsors.  Particpate in the Kids Book Swap and the Gift Basket Auction.  Kids are encouraged to bring a book for a Book Swap after they finish racing, and everyone is welcome to participate in the Auction.  Items will be on display and tickets are $1 each.  Drawing to take place at the end of the race.
