Beach To Towers 8k Run/Walk

Runners needs are simple:  sky above, ground below, trees to make oxygen, and, if possible, a river to run alongside.  That, and a solid pair of shoes.  Unless you are one of those people who scoff at shoes, (keep in mind, shoe scoffers, it’s all fun and games until someone steps in bear poop).  In an effort to support those needs (environmental, not shoes) the Frisky Goat Running Company and Milford Presents is pleased to present the 2019 Beach To Towers 8k run to help raise money to support the Delaware Highlands Conservancy. 

Milford, PA is the birthplace of the conservation movement!  The Grey Towers National Historic Site is cooperating with our effort to continue Delaware River conservation by being a part of our race course:  a course that is uphill out and downhill back (how cool is that).  Starting at the Delaware River, at Milford Beach, runners will cruise down River Road, through the historic town of Milford, up to Grey Towers, then back to Milford Beach.  I predict this will be a fast race, once you get a couple little hills out of the way.

Join us this April 7th and take part in a runners’ effort to keep our river healthy!  T-shirt, finishers medal and post-race funtivities are planned!
