Designed by US Marines, participants face Marine Corps military boot camp exercises along a 5k (3.1 mile) course. You CHOOSE your level!
Competitive = You do 2 loops of the course, you must complete all the exercises & you are eligible for a timed finish & race awards Cost: $30 thru April 16th. Shirts $15 extra thru April 12th. 4/17th & Event day: $40. OR…..
Non-Competitive = For ALL skill levels and abilities, you do 1 loop of the course, try to complete the exercises listed under (NC) below. But, you can try the course without any pressure of finishing the exercises, there is no timed finish & you are not eligible for race awards. Cost: $20 thru April 16th. Shirts $15 extra thru April 12th. 4/17th & Event day: $30. At the Event:

What are some of the exercises?
Competitive © division will do the course twice & visit 24 stations. Non-competitive (NC) will do the course only once & visit 12 stations.
Station 1: Crab crawl (your butt can’t touch the ground)
Station 2: Low crawl (hips must touch the ground at all times) immediately followed by High crawl (on your hands and knees)
Station 3: Weighted Sit Ups. You do sit ups while holding a weight. © = 20. (NC) = 10
Station 4: Burpees – Marine style. © = 10. (NC) = 5.
Station 5: Bear crawl follow the flags up & down the hill.
Station 6: Walking lunges uphill – back knee must touch the ground.
Station 7: Push ups. Marine style. © = 10. (NC) = 5.
Station 8: Run the Grandstand steps.
Station 9: Stair jumps. Jump the bleacher steps 2 at a time to the top and repeat on next set of stairs.
Station 10: Sand bag hoist. You will raise a sand bag until it touches the steel girder.
Station 11: Wall jump. You may get assistance if you need it.
