Beating Cancer for the Long Run

Come out on April 28th, 2018 and help raise money and support the Piedmont Triad's local cancer center, Wesley Long. The Northwest Girls' Lacrosse team will host a 5K race at Northwest Guilford High School cross country trail on April 28th, 2018 starting at 10 a.m. Please try to show up around 20 minutes earlier to the track. There will be water stations throughout the course and food at the finish line. After the 5K race, there will be a Fun Run for elementary school kids and younger on the NWHS track. The Fun Run will be two laps on the track with small obstacles every 100m. Ticket price in advance is $15 which includes a race bib and t-shirt. Ticket price is $20 day of the race at the gate which will not guarantee a race bib and t-shirt. Please try to show up on either the 27th or the 26th anywhere from 5-7 p.m. to the main entrance of the school for race packet pickup. If those times do not work for you, please show up 30 minutes before the race if possible.  All money raised will go directly to Cone Heath Cancer Center at their greatest area of need.
