Belvidere Tornados 5k

Join us for our second annual 5K supporting the Belvidere Tornados Youth Cross Country Team. The race will be held on Saturday, August 17th at 8:00 AM in Spencer Park (off of Appleton Road) in Belvidere. This is a timed race, with timing provided by Tri-3 Sports Timing, on a USATF Certified Course (we are using the same course as Light Your Fire 5K). All ages and athletic abilities are welcome to participate. Run or walk the 5K, it is up to you. All participants will receive a Belvidere Tornados 5K shirt, a swag bag and new this year... a FINISHER MEDAL! There will also be a trophy for Top Finisher Male and Top Finisher Female and medals to top finishers (1st-3rd male and female) in various age groups:

12 and under 13-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60 and over

All proceeds are used to help support the mission of the Tornados, with part of the proceeds also going towards awarding scholarships for the 2019-2020 graduating senior class.
