Ben Banks 5K - Hold onto your Guts, and Let's be Superhero's!

This 5K run/walk is in celebration of Ben Banks’ simple but well lived life.  Our goals are to celebrate Ben, raise awareness for the Benjamin Mark Banks Jr. Memorial Scholarship, and raise money to fund the scholarship.  We hope this will honor Ben, and remind people of the simple pleasures in life, that Ben loved so much.  We will spend this day having fun with family, friends, and community.  Please visit jumetcharitable.org to see Ben’s Scholarship Initiative or to donate directly.  Thank you to all, for your continued love for Ben.  Forever in our hearts.
Day of Race sign up:  8-8:45am - $25 (Not Guaranteed a race shirt)
Basket Auction:  Will be held before the race, so come early, buy your tickets and try your luck.
"That's so cool," CAR Contest: Drive your sports car, hot rod, or everyday car and be judged as you are parking.  CASH PRIZE $$

Medals: Will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place overall Men. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place overall Women.
1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each age category Kids.
Refreshments, medals, basket raffles, and awarded after the event.
All participants registered before March 15 will be guaranteed a Ben Banks 2020 5K, long sleeve T-Shirt.
The course is traffic controlled with township police escort and directional persons.  
Timing is done with chip timers by Runners High.
RACE COURSE 5K: Start at Wright Fields at Veterans Park (in the back by the maintenance building) turning right onto 37th St. Ext. proceed to the Bowser baseball field parking lot where we will make a loop then back onto 37th. St. Heading towards Shenango Rd. We will run to a turn around point by the Alliance Church and then back to the Wright field at Veteran Park for a finish toward the back of the park to a total of 3.1miles.
RACE COURSE 1 MILE FUN RUN:  Loop around Wright fields using the outer track.  Not timed, all participants receive a ribbon.
