Blast from the Past: Greene County Historical Society Opening Day 5k

The Greene County Historical Society and Museum is proud to present the Blast from the Past Opening Day 5K Run/Walk and 1K Children’s Fun Run!  This event will raise money to fulfill Greene County Historical Society’s mission, “to promote an appreciation of Greene County History through the preservation and interpretation of local artifacts and stories in order to educate the public and future generations through a narrative of the rich heritage of Greene County and its surrounding areas.”  The event will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 9A.M. with the 1K Children’s Fun Run, “The Little Solider”, followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9:30A.M.  Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female walker/runner, in each age category, concluding with the traditional pancake breakfast!
