Blazer Bolt for Brain Cancer 5K

October 19 2019 THE 6th  Annual Blazer Bolt  Brain Cancer Survivor Walk start at 9:20 AM  just about  a 200 foot walk  to the FINISH  We invite you to share in this celebration by honoring and encouraging  these brave children, women, and men 

 Blazer Bolt  Inc is a 501(c)(3) organization Tax Exempt # 47-4030497  whose annual event is the Blazer Bolt for Brain Cancer. 

 All proceeds  continue to  directly benefit the University of Alabama Birmingham Division of Neuro Oncology and Children's of Alabama Neuro Oncology.  In 2018  funds raised directly benefit the UAB Tissue Repository -Brain Tumor Tissue Bank . Both pediatric and adult patients who have surgery at UAB or Childrens of AL have tumor tissue stored for laboratory research.  These samples allow our research efforts to be extremely relevant to the human condition.   This year all proceeds raised will benefit the Brain Tumor Tissue Bank Bio -Repository which provides a centralized source to store and disseminate specimens from patients operated on at UAB or Children’s of Alabama. This facilitates research for treatments for both children and adults battling brain cancer 

Overall  Winner Male & Female,  Master's Overall Winner   Male & Female, and  First Male and  First Female Winner in each Age Group (every five years from age 7-9; 10-14, 15-19 etc  up to  70+). No duplication of awards.
