The Blazin’ LOVE 5K Saturday – February 15, 2020 – 5K starts @ 8:00AM USATF 5K Certified course – GA18010WC Benefit the VSU Cross Country Teams! 2020 AJC Peachtree Road Race Official Qualifying Event 5K Course: This USATF Certified course in Valdosta starts at the corner of Azalea Drive and College Street at the VECA School – 1605 Azalea Drive – Valdosta - 31602. Travels Azalea Drive to a left turn on Cranford Ave, right turn on White Oak Drive, right turn on Azalea Circle, left turn on Azalea Drive, right turn on Gornto Road, right turn on Georgia Ave, left on Clyde Ave, right on New Bern Street, right on Park, left on Delvid Street, right on Cranford, right on Georgia Ave, left on Cary Street and left on Azalea Drive, finishing at the VECA School. One loop course.   5K Individual Awards: First Place Overall Male & Female / Masters Male & Masters Female. 1st and 2nd place winners in each of 8 age divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over. Not eligible for COUPLE AWARDS.   5K Couples Awards: 1st & 2nd place awarded to the fastest combined time for each of these 4 categories: Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, Husband/Wife, Male/Female. The team MUST BE DECLARED between 7:00am and 7:50am on race morning – special table to sign in after you pick up your bib number. Each individual is limited to one team only.   BLAZIN’ BONUS - 50/50 raffle drawing and more: Assured no less than $50 in winnings. Each chance - $2.00. Drawing at the start of the awards ceremony – you do NOT have to be present to WIN!  
 
Drawstring Carry Bag to all registrants - will not be mailed, must be picked up race morning.

First 4 men and 4 women to enter and want a VSU Blazer assigned to you to run every step with you – to help you run the very fastest possible. Sign up early before all slots are taken. BURN FLAME Entry Fee: $30.00 through February 14th. These are individuals who would like to support the VSU Cross Country teams – but unable to make the event. Your Drawstring Bag will be made available at the VSU PE Complex Room 1126B or mailed to you the week after the event.   Please bring exact change – no refunds.
