About the event
Thank you for joining us in our incredible journey! The Bonny Island Marathon, held in Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria, is one of the fastest growing 21K sports events. Since 2018, it has attracted over 9,000 participants from the male and female categories, ranging from professionals to amateurs and leisure runners. The race usually takes place during the first or second week of December and starts from the Finima Stadium, ending in Bonny main town (or vice versa). After the race, awards are presented and the day is celebrated with a Fiesta. We look forward to seeing you there!

I was so impressed with the level of organisation and professionalism exhibited, during the last marathon. Bonny island is great location and lovely place to be. With lots of relaxation spots and beautiful beaches. Traffic was well managed. Can't wait for the next edition!
Good distance for me
Have been training for this particular distance for a while before my participation.
