Breast Cancer 5k

The Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point is hosting the 11th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Run/Walk on Friday 7 October 2016 at 1:00 PM! This event is held each year to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and to support the battle against breast cancer.

Fundraising proceeds will cover the administrative cost of hosting the event and to make a donation to the Susan G.  Komen Foundation.   The Susan G. Komen Foundation aids in the research and development of treatment methods for breast cancer.  http://ww5.komen.org/

This event is open to runners/walkers of all ages and skill levels with access or sponsorship onto MCAS Cherry Point. Prizes will be awarded to the first male and first female finishers as well as the unit with most overall participation in the event!  So lace up your running shoes and think pink as we come together to put our "breast foot forward!"
