The Brett Wightman 5K/Walk & Fun Run was started for a day of remembrance and celebration of life for LCpl Brett Wightman who lost his life August 3, 2005 serving his country in Hadithah, Iraq. Brett aspired to be a Marine since his childhood and made his dream come true right after graduating from East Clinton High School. All proceeds from the Brett Wightman Memorial 5K will go to the foundation fund, which allows us to provide scholarship opportunities for graduating seniors.
