Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Fun Run

Join us for the 49th running of the Brian Waterbury Memorial Rock to Pier Run.   This 6 mile run/walk is held completely on the beach (hard packed sand) from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier.  This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities.

Also the Rock'n Around the Pier Half Marathon will be in its 7th year.   This 13.1 mile event is held on the hard packed sand with a challenging trip through soft sand to a 1 mile loop on a paved path (at 10.5 miles) return to the beach through the soft sand to the finish line at Morro Rock.    Due to the tide, this course will close at 3 hours.

Water/Aide stations are available - 3 for Rock to Pier and 7 for the Half Marathon.  

Transportation is provided from the Cayucos Pier back to the start at Morro Rock where a post event breakfast will be held.  Awards will be at Morro Rock.

This event is held on the beach--you will get wet.   Dogs are not allowed on the course due to the Snowy Plover nesting season.
