Brigance Brigade Foundation's 5.7K Championship Race & 1.57 Mile Walk

Join us for the 7th Annual 5.7K Championship Race and 1.57 Mile Walk!   Together, we FIGHT!

This event is a fundraiser in support of the Brigance Brigade Foundation's critical mission to equip, encourage, and empower people living with ALS. Our family-friendly event will bring together runners and walkers of all experience levels for a morning of fun and fitness to support the Brigance Family’s vision for their legacy, to provide direct resources and financial assistance to families battling ALS.

We can't do it without you! For those seeking to support the Foundation at high levels, and invite your friends and family to learn about the passion you hold for our mission, we have created a one-stop-shop for engagement... the Champion's Circle (brigancebrigade.org/championscircle)

  Event overview:

7 AM
Onsite packet pickup and race day sign up opens!  We strongly suggest that you take advantage of one of the early packet pickup sessions (Saturday 4/25 from 2 - 6 pm at Canton Park and TBA, but if you choose to pick up on race day please arrive early to avoid long lines. We need to start the race promptly at 9:00 am. Race-day registration will be available - $55 for the 5.7K and $45 for the 1.57 Mile.  Kids' Fun Run remains at $10 on race day.

Suggested arrival time! Everyone should already have their shirts and bibs in hand and be ready to race. Head to the starting line for special pre-race appearances and your warm up!

The 2020 5.7K is off, followed shortly by the 1.57 Mile

Jimmy’s Famous Seafood Brunch, Beer & Bubbles Tent opens for business!  Please note: As part of your race registration, 1 (one) complimentary adult beverage can be redeemed by participants (21+ only) in Celebration Village. Additional drinks are available for purchase. Please be prepared to show ID. The build your own Brunch Bar can be purchased at the end of your race registration online or onsite/day-of. This does NOT include any free drinks. Participants are not permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages to Canton Waterfront Park.

Spectators and finishers should head to the Celebration Village in Canton Waterfront Park.
 
10:15 AM
Kids’ Fun Run begins! Participants should meet at the basketball inflatable in the Celebration Village.
 
10:30 AM
Congratulate our overall and age group finishers during a brief award ceremony.
 
10:45 AM
Stick around after the program to enjoy the beautiful weather and all the Celebration Village has to offer, including "Build Your Own Brunch" by Jimmy's Famous Seafood., Roostarts from Iron Rooster. Music from Bristol Sounds. Race Painting. Kid's Zone. and more! 

This event will be held rain or shine; there are no refunds.
