Bryant PA Program Run For Hope

Hey everyone!

The Clinic Esperanza/Hope Clinic is located in Providence, Rhode Island, and it serves an underserved, primarily Spanish-speaking population in the Providence community. Its goal is to provide free, high-quality health care to uninsured Rhode Islanders.

Bryant University’s PA Program students have the privilege of volunteering in the clinic as an adjunct to our didactic education. In this patient-centered practice, we are gaining confidence in our history and physical assessments, establishing more fine-tuned treatment plans and assessments, and working toward improving the overall health and wellbeing of our patients through culturally and linguistically appropriate health maintenance and disease prevention counseling.

In the past, we have received grant support, but as the patient population is increasing, our past funding resources are falling short of the clinic’s needs to maintain patient health vis exercise programs, nutrition education, cholesterol/BP/glucose checks, primary care, and vaccinations.
