Bumble Bee Bolt 5k and Kids Run

Come join the fun at the inaugural Bumble Bee Bolt 5k and 1 mile kids run! Our timed 5k race will feature awards for the overall male and female first, second and third finishers, as well as the first three finishers (male and female) in each age group. All participants under the age of 12 in the kids run will receive an award too! To keep with our fun-filled bumble bee theme, costumes, themed shirts, and other festive attire are encouraged. 

The event is organized by the local Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in American group to promote the Be SMART program. This program educates the public on responsible gun storage while also raising awareness of the many tragic injuries and death to children from unsecured firearms. Tennessee has more child injuries and deaths from unsecured guns than any other state in the nation. We're committed to spreading the message of safe, responsible gun storage to help change this statistic.

Race Day Schedule 

Packet pickup and same-day registration begins at 6:00 AM

5k race begins at 7:00 AM

Kids run begins at 7:45 AM

Awards begin at 8:15 AM
