Bunny Hop 5K - State College

The Bunny Hop 5K is an annual race that raises funds and awareness for charity. The run is hosted by the State College Area High School National Honor Society.
 
All proceeds from the second annual Bunny Hop 5K will directly support the Four Diamonds Fund in honor of Maryann Newcomb, a former State High student and NHS member who is bravely battling leukemia. The Four Diamonds Fund works to conquer childhood cancer by supporting innovative, life-saving research and all money raised through this event will be earmarked for leukemia research.  
 
The Bunny Hop 5K will be held on Saturday, April 7th at the State College Area High School. The main event is centered in the soccer field (behind Welch Pool). Race start time will be at 9am.
 
Both runners and walkers are encouraged to participate, as well as teams. Costumes are allowed and encouraged for this fun event in support of childhood cancer patients. On race day, prizes will be given to the best-dressed team, fastest runners, the team which raises the most money, and more! Food and beverages will be provided.
 
The fee to run is $25 per adult, $20 per child/student, and $20 per team member (teams must have 5 or more members and can contain children/students and adults). This fee includes a runner's packet. Participants are encouraged to raise additional money for the Four Diamonds fund. Fee is payable by credit card, cash or check.  Credit card can be paid through this site.  If paying by cash or check, print the registration form you receive in your email (checks payable to "SCASD Activities Fund", memo "SCAHS NHS") and pay when your packet is picked up on April 6th. State High students may drop off money in Mrs. Rand's room, E128.
