Join us for our 8th Annual CRSS Race for Hope 2017 on Saturday, September 30th at 10am. This is a sanctioned and certified USATF 5K. ONLINE RACE REGISTRATION OPEN UNTIL 6PM Wednesday, SEPTEMBER 27th!
Entry Fees (Proceeds from all entry fees goes to fundraising):
By August 31, 2017 - $30
August 31-September 25, 2017 - $35
Children 12 and under - $15
Teams of 10 or more - $20 per person
The mission of the Race for Hope is to hold a 5k community walk/run to raise funds to provide financial assistance to people living with brain, head and neck cancer in the Capital Region.
Our grant-making fund is stewarded by The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region (CFGCR). Applications are open to qualifying 501c3 hospitals, cancer care facilities, and community cancer care support programs and organizations throughout the 12 counties of the Greater Capital Region.
Since 2009, the CRSS Race for Hope events have raised over $200,000, of which all monies have been dedicated to fundraising, since overhead costs are underwritten by Capital Region Special Surgery. Past recipients have included Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc. and patient services at St. Peter’s Cancer Care Center.

NO DOGS OR PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED AT EVENT.
Dress: Be prepared for transitional weather and check the local forecast prior to the race.
Driving Directions
From I-90:
Take exit 4 to merge onto NY-85 S toward Voorheesville/Slingerlands. Continue on NY-85 S through the first traffic circle. At the second traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Maher Road. At the end, left at stoplight onto New Scotland Road. We are a three-story brick building on your right.
From 787:
Boston/Buffalo Exit to I-90 West to Exit 4, Route 85 Voorheesville/Slingerlands. Continue on NY-85 S through the first traffic circle. At the second traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Maher Road. At the end, left at stoplight onto New Scotland Road. We are a three-story brick building on your right.
From I-87 (Northway):
Take Exit 1E onto I-90 East to Exit 4, Route 85 Voorheesville/Slingerlands. Continue on NY-85 S through the first traffic circle. At the second traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Maher Rd
At the end, left at stoplight onto New Scotland Road. We are a three-story brick building on your right.
FREE EVENT DAY PARKING available across the street in the old Blue Cross Blue Shield lot, please look for parking signs and parking captains to direct you (approach from 85 or New Scotland).
The lots of 1220/1240 New Scotland will be closed to traffic from 8a to 1p.
