CareNet Hope 5K Run

Join us for the CareNet Counseling East (CNCE) our 5th Annual 5K Hope Run and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk to highlight awareness of mental health needs. CNCE’s mission is to improve the health of the mind, body, spirit, and community through faith-integrated counseling, psychotherapy, research, and education. Proceeds and donations from the race will help make it possible for individuals in the midst of life's crises, situations, and events to move from a hopeless endurance to living inspired lives.

Race Highlights:

The event features a 5K run for individuals or teams on at USATF-certified race course and a 1M fun run/walk. This is a family-oriented event!

All participants can join the post-race celebration and awards ceremony, with great prizes and refreshments.

The race will take place rain or shine.

Registration:

5K Run  $25.00

1M Run/Walk $10.00

Entry fees are non-refundable.

To ensure correct t-shirt size, register by May 1st.

Registration the day of the event will be available, but t-shirts will be available on a first-come first-serve basis the day of the event.

Same-day registration and packet pickup will begin at 7 AM on race day.

5K registration includes event shirt (only guaranteed if registered by 5/1), electronic chip timing, goodie bag, and post-race refreshments.

1M registration is not officially timed but includes goodie bag and post-race refreshments. Event shirts available (as supplies last) for an additional fee on the day of event. They are NOT included as part of the registration cost for the 1M event.

Times:

8:00 AM 5K run begins

8:15 AM 1M run/walk begins

Awards:

In the 5K, awards will be given to the top 3 M&W overall and top 3 M&W in the following age groups: 15 & Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.

Team awards (minimum of 3 participates, male or female) will be given based on performance (fastest teams) for the 5K.

Timing, Scoring and Results:

Chip scoring provided by Run the East LLC. All runners must pickup and wear their assigned timing chip in order to be timed. Results will be posted at www.runtheeast.com.
