Category 5K

This is the second annual Category 5K Run/Walk hosted by Gainesville High School's Student Government Association.  The Category 5K Run/Walk began last year as a fundraiser to support public schools in the Florida Panhandle affected by Hurricane Michael.  Thanks to our sponsors and registered participants, we were able to send $5,000.00 to help public school teachers in Bay County.  This year, we hope to continue that support for our public schools still recovering from the hurricane.  This year's family-friendly event will be held at Depot Park in Gainesville, Florida on Sunday, February 9, 2020.  Your registration fee includes one t-shirt (be sure to provide your shirt size) for the first 150 participants to register before January 24th.  The first 150 participants to cross the finish line will receive a race medal.  We hope to see you at Depot Park on February 9, 2020!
