Obtain a walk, ride, or drive Tour Guide from our nearby museum. This guide will introduce a community that has epochal connections to 1000’s of years of Native American, early settler, African American, and deaf cultural history. Tour includes largest Indian cabin; Fairview Rosenwald School museum project; 18th Century Georgia School for the Deaf buildings, train depot, Chubb Town, and 90 different structures on the National Register of Historic Places. Additionally, directions are included to the local trailheads of the Pinhoti Trail. In a town established in 1822, yet quite vibrant still today, you will feel like walking through time!
Finish out your weekend visiting the large limestone cave, partaking of the nationally-famous clean spring water and languishing in the spring-fed 1.5 acre swimming pool, Georgia’s largest!
