3rd Annual Chad’s Light Up Leukemia 5k
Saturday, February 16th, 2019 – 10:00 a.m.
37 Dirksen Dr, DeBary
DeBary, FL 32713
People have often said to me “don’t let leukemia/cancer define you”, but how can something so life changing not? The diagnosis along with the necessary treatment(s) changes your life forever. Through my now two time battle with leukemia, it has become more important to focus on whether you allow cancer to beat you or whether you are going to beat it. Maintaining a positive spirit, keeping faith and surrounding myself with a strong support system is what moves me to kick leukemia once and for all. This journey has given me more awareness of life and just how short it can be, so it is my goal to take my story and bring a greater awareness of leukemia as there are so many others out there fighting the same fight as myself.
