Chase the Antelopes 5k / 1mile

Join us for the Second Annual "Chase the Antelopes 5k Run & One-Mile Walk".  This event will take place at Avonworth Middle School, home of the Antelopes!  The 8th grade class will be organizing this event from start to finish, under the direction of their Civics Teacher and High School Cross Country Coach.  Students will be designing the t-shirt, creating unique medals and awards in their Technoloy Education classes, and contacting local businesses for sponsorship and donations.  

See if you can catch the Antelopes on April 28!  The race will start and end on the high school track with a mostly-flat run through the Avonworth community neighborhoods.  

All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Hannah Milbert Memorial Fund.  Hannah was a 10th Grade Student at Avonworth High School who tragically lost her life in a fire at her home on January 7, 2017.

Low entry fee of $15 until April 1st then $20. Race day registration (t-shirts no longer guaranteed) and packet pick-up will be available starting at 7:30 a.m. at Lenzner Field.  Participant parking is at Avonworth Middle School/High School Campus.  Do NOT park in the fire lanes.
