Chasing Dreams 5k

Location of the event: Camden, NJ 

Distances of events and whether run or run/walk: 5K Run, 1 Mile Fun Walk 

Place - specific location: Dudley Grange Park, 3100 Federal Street, Camden 

Registration:  Participants are strongly encouraged to pre-register online.  For all others, registration will be available in person at packet pickup on Friday, June 17th 6-8 PM or on race day from 8 to 9AM. We would strongly encourage anyone wishing to pre-register after 6/5/2016 to do so electronically using this website!

Entry Fees:  $25 per person* before June 1st.  Late Registration $30 June 2 – June 18.  Race Day Registration available 8am – 9:30AM.

Description: The first annual “Chasing Dreams” 5k is a Run/Walk that will begin and end at Dudley Grange Park in Camden, NJ. The race will start at 10AM.  The starting line will be adjacent to 3100 Federal Street, and will finish at the same location. 

Award Categories: Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall will win medals.  1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female in the following age groups will be awarded ribbons:  8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.

After the race: Join us after the race at Dudley Grange Park for an award ceremony and post-race Community Block Party.  Enjoy free massages, fire trucks, moon bounce, music, games and free samples.  Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy an afternoon at the park!

Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be held on Friday, June 17th from 6 – 8PM in the Woodrow Wilson Cafeteria (entrance on the side of the school on South 31st Street).  Any packets not picked up by the morning of the race can be picked up at the registration area from 8:30 to 9:30am.

Transportation & Parking;  For participants needing to drive to the race, we encourage you to park at Woodrow Wilson High School.   For those who live in the immediate vicinity, please carpool or walk to the starting line. Limited street parking near the start line for participants that have picked up their race packets is available along North Dudley Street, North 32nd and 33rd Streets.

Additional Info:  A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Camden Clock Chasers Organization.
