The route will be marked with Chiltern Way markers and runners will navigate the course using maps provided with runners being given a new route map at each checkpoint. The course will not be marked and navigation will primarily be with Maps and some notes given out for areas that may be more difficult to navigate.
This will be a tough ultra and the terrain will be mostly off road on tracks and bridleways with some road and a fair bit of mud if the weather is not kind.
The Chiltern Way Ultra is a waymarked route through Herts and Bucks on footpaths and bridleways covering a total distance of just over 200km 125ish miles from Hemel Hemstead in a large circular clockwise route.
