This is the 2nd Annual Chino Valley Gives events sponsored by EdActs Global! This day has our community in mind as we celebrate our local assistance agencies. We ask that anyone coming to the Chino Valley Gives Day to bring new socks, non-perishable food items, clothing, and toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.). We will have agencies on hand, for you to give to them directly! This day will also have music groups from our local high schools for your enjoyment, along with other fun things to do!
This event is perfectly suited for those wanting to start the NEW YEAR RIGHT! Start the year with a 5K and progress with other running events throughout the year! Boys Republic (BR), the site of this run, is flat with partial black-top road and trails. An excellent place for a run!
Event details and schedule
Site: Boys Republic “seeks to give adolescent youth with behavioral, educational, and emotional difficulties an opportunity to achieve their maximum potential for responsible, self-directed life within the community.” One of their most notable alumnus is Steve McQueen who regularly returned to BR. Each year, Boys Republic is the site of the annual Steve McQueen Car Show. We are happy to partner with Boys Republic!
Course Details: This will be a closed course, so you will not have to worry about cars! Strollers are welcome. A perfect introduction race for young ones as well!
