Christmas on the Canal 5k run/walk

The Christmas on the Canal 5k will be run on the streets of Canal Fulton, Ohio on the morning of December 1, 2018.  Registration is from 8:00-9:00 am at the Canal Ways Center, Canal Fulton City Park, Canal Fulton, Ohio.  The Fun Run for children which is a one mile run starts at 9:15 am.  Trophies will be presented to the overall winners and medals for the top three runners per age group per gender.  Participants are encouraged to wear the costume of their favorite Christmas character.  A contest for Best Costume will be judged by members of the Canal Fulton Players, a local theatre group.  The entrance fee prior to November 1, 2018 is $35.00.  The entrance fee from November 1, 2018 to the time of the race is $40.00.  The sponsors for the race are The Canal Fulton Area Chamber of Commerce, The Northwest Runners Club, and The City of Canal Fulton.  Each participant will be getting a t-shirt and the times will be electronically taken.  For further information, call David Van Gaasbeek, at 330-494-1022.
